These earrings are cast from the outline at the front of a single hexagon of honeycomb.
NATURAL HISTORY
Honeycomb is built by bees to store pollen and honey and to hold their larvae.
This honeycomb came originally from Virginia-based beekeeper Amanda Welch and her bees at Meeting House Farm.
METAPHOR
Industry and devotion. The feeling of being still in a patch of clover with the hum of insects.
